Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Find out if Ketamine treatment might be right for you.
Here's How You Can Get Started

Step One
Reach out to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation. From there we can schedule an intake assessment and, if it is determined that Ketamine may be a helpful compliment to your healing journey, you will be provided with a referral for your medical evaluation.

Step Two
The doctor will provide a medical evaluation to assess and determine safety, and then together you will determine the appropriate dosage for you. If you and the doctor determine that ketamine is right for you, then you will be provided a prescription for oral lozenges, typically called troches or rapid dissolving tablets (RDTs). You will then pick up your prescription from a compounding pharmacy. You will discuss a treatment plan with the prescriber to determine the number of sessions and dosing range that suits your needs.

Step Three
Once you have received your prescription, you and your therapist will set up your Preparation
session(s), and a establish a consistent schedule for your Ketamine sessions and Integration sessions.

My Approach to Psychedelic Therapy

Together we can engage in your healing process and self-exploration beyond anxiety, depression and trauma using Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). The KAP process begins with preparation sessions to develop intentions for your work and healthy self-care practices that will promote your wellness before, throughout, and after your work with the medicine. You will then work towards understanding and integrating powerful or challenging psychedelic experiences using integration sessions in the time between your ketamine sessions. My practice focuses on the use of Ketamine as one of the tools to access the inner-healing wisdom that we all possess. My role is to walk with you through that process while you learn to listen to the wisdom and strength you possess within.
The way that I approach therapy is from a holistic wellness perspective that builds on the foundation and understanding that we are physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social beings. The KAP process is about restoring connection to self, community, nature, and spirit. I utilize a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including mindfulness, somatic experiencing, breathwork, inner child work (IFS), as well as trauma-informed modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help identify and build on your innate strengths. I believe that through the therapeutic relationship, self-care, and self-compassion practices you can begin to return to a place of unconditional love and acceptance of yourself.
I am passionate about being able to practice psychotherapy in conjunction with Ketamine because of the powerful healing potential that comes when you combine the two. I believe we each deserve to feel a sense of empowerment and enjoyment in our lives and to be able to fully experience our inner world and the world around us. This is your time to connect with your authentic self, find shifts in perspective, face your challenges, laugh, grow, and heal. This is what I hope to foster through my work with you.
